...Craig Wright is arguably the most contentious figure in the crypto space. His medium of choice was always Twitter and his tweets were so controversial, they could affect the price the entire industry.
This week, his Twitter account, @ProfFaustus, went missing. According to SocialBlade, 10,000 of Wright’s tweets have been removed in one day. His tweets moved from 38,110 to 27,240.
Wright’s most controversial claim is that he is Satoshi Nakamoto. This has been fiercely reputed by high-profile figures such as Vitalik Buterin.
The reason behind Wright’s Twitter removal is still unclear. It’s unlikely because of Twitter itself, so he’s either been hacked, or he has decided to take the account down himself.
What this means for his project Bitcoin Satoshi Vision (BSV) is unknown as he has been a very vocal proponent of the project since it’s forking from Bitcoin Cash (BCH).
