Considered ground zero for the “Blockchain, not Bitcoin” narrative, the firm has leveraged the hype and promise of “blockchain” to raise more than $120 million to develop its core DLT platform Corda and build a broad ecosystem of more than 200 partners across industries.
While initial momentum from the recent bull market helped carry the firm, reports surfaced last summer of limited traction, translating to revenue targets that were “10x short” and “laughably off.
