Happy New Year Origin Community! As we reflect upon 2019, the entire team can’t help but feel blessed that we’ve been able to develop such a strong relationship with our global community. Looking forward to 2020, we’re even more excited about doing more community programs, rewarding our loyal users with Origin Tokens (OGN) and other prizes, and dramatically growing Origin’s presence across the globe.
Today, we’re announcing a fun and exciting way to ring in the new year with Origin. In addition to our 12/23 Special Edition Origin Rewards campaign, we are launching a 2020 Kickoff social media contest to give away up to $3,750 in cash prizes (in USDT).
Between December 30th, 2019 and January 15th, 2020 (US Pacific time), post a photo, meme, video, or any other type of social media post that explains what Origin means to you or why you are excited about our project. Then tag one of the official Origin channels so we can see your submission.
At the end of the contest, we will reward the most creative and authentic content with a $1,000 USDT Cash Grand Prize. The second place and third place winners will receive $500 and $250 respectively.
The next top ten content producers will all receive $100 USDT. We’re not stopping there. Another 100 community members that produce great content thereafter will receive $10 USDT. That’s over 100 winners in this contest! With so many prizes, we expect there to be a ton of amazing content and many winners from within the Origin community.
All winners will also be published on our blog post honoring them for their part in growing and engaging with the broader community.

How it works
Step 1. Create your content — it can be a video, meme, Twitter/social media post, or a selfie with your favorite Origin swag.

Shoot a quick mobile selfie or create a video review or demo. We will definitely give bonus points to users that take the effort to produce great content, especially content in local languages like Chinese, Korean, Russian, and others! Here are a few examples.
